Reteyourburn: Smarter Hiring & Onboarding Platform for Fitness Coaches
Reteyourburn needed a better way to recruit, evaluate, and onboard fitness coaches while keeping their existing client operations running. BinaryFunction built a web application and onboarding workflow that brought hiring, coach profiles, certifications, applications, and training schedules into one place.
The Problem
Finding the right fitness coach wasn’t always easy. Clients often struggled to find a coach who matched their specific health goals, while coaches had difficulty reaching clients who were a good fit for their expertise. The challenge was to build a platform that could bring both sides together — helping clients discover the right coach for their goals, while giving coaches a better way to find and connect with relevant clients.
The Solution
We built a two-sided platform that connects users with fitness coaches based on their goals, interests, and coaching expertise. Coaches can register on the platform and create detailed profiles showcasing their experience, specialties, and areas of expertise. They can also share videos and content to demonstrate their knowledge and connect with potential clients. Users can sign up, search and discover coaches, and choose a coach based on their specific requirements. After each session, users can submit a review and rating, helping build trust and making it easier for others to choose the right coach. Both coaches and users can post videos, creating a community where coaches can share their expertise and users can share their fitness experiences.
The Results
Reteyourburn coaching team grew into people who could write programs, run the floor, and hire the next coach without us sitting in. We kept client sessions on the calendar the whole time — programming, delivery, and follow-up — while teaching the unglamorous skills a working coach needs: session design, cueing, client notes, and how to take care of the work. Formed now runs hiring and onboarding on their own, which is the point.
