The Problem
Home cooks kept recipes in chats, screenshots, and bookmarks. There was no shared place to publish a dish, find one by ingredient, or see what other people actually cooked. Search was a browser tab and a hope. Photos of finished plates lived on the camera roll. Following a cook you trusted meant following them on social media, not in a kitchen. They needed a community built for cooking at home: write the recipe, find it later, and see how others made it.
The Solution
We built a recipe community for home cooks. Anyone can publish a recipe with ingredients, steps, and photos, and save dishes they want to cook later. Search works by dish, ingredient, or cuisine, so “what’s for dinner” is not a scroll through old messages. Cooks can post photos of the finished plate, follow people whose food they like, and browse what is trending. The product supports more than one language so a recipe can be found in the language people cook in. The community is the product. It does not replace a restaurant. It gives home cooks one place to write, find, and share everyday food.
The Results
Recipes live in one community instead of chats and saved posts. People can search by what they have, follow cooks they trust, and see dishes others have actually made. Home cooks publish and find food in one place — without us in the day-to-day.
